In order to implement the spirit of the 2023 Autumn Conference on the concentrated Prevention and Control of major animal diseases in the city and the special action deployment requirements, and fully ensure the continued stability of major animal diseases and key zoonotic diseases in our city, since September, the Tianjin Agricultural Law Enforcement General Team's animal husbandry and Veterinary law Enforcement Detachment has focused on the key and difficult points of animal epidemic prevention law enforcement and actively carried out special supervision and inspection. We have vigorously promoted the implementation of prevention and control measures in all agriculture-related areas, and achieved phased results.

First, strengthen the organization and dispatch, and promote the implementation of animal epidemic prevention law enforcement responsibilities. The corps has held two law-enforcement work scheduling meetings, requiring the relevant team offices of the detachment and the corps in the agricultural areas to further improve their political standing, effectively enhance the sense of urgency and sense of mission in animal epidemic prevention and law enforcement, firmly seize the critical period of animal epidemic prevention and control in autumn and winter, organize law enforcement personnel to fully engage in law enforcement inspections and supervision, and increase the number of inspections and the frequency of supervision. We will ensure that animal epidemic prevention has achieved substantial results.

Second, strengthen supervision and inspection, and promote the strengthening of animal epidemic prevention law enforcement. The squadron organized capable forces to carry out supervision and inspection of law enforcement in all agriculture-related areas, closely focused on key tasks such as livestock and poultry feeding, transportation, and slaughter, diagnosis and treatment management, veterinary laboratory biosafety supervision, and illegal live poultry sales clean-up and rectification, and guided and promoted all agriculture-related areas to strengthen law enforcement of animal epidemic prevention. Efforts will be made to urge animal epidemic prevention entities to fulfill their principal responsibilities such as compulsory immunization and harmless treatment, and severely crack down on violations of animal epidemic prevention laws and regulations such as non-compliance with compulsory immunization and illegal transport.
